The leaves used by Ölich come from the area around Edremit on Turkey’s Aegean coast – the same region as Ölich olive oil and from trees belonging to a family that has been cultivating olive groves there since 1785!
From these leaves, Ölich has created three different varieties. The main difference? When they fit best into your day!
✨ KRAFTLIEBE – for the morning: Olive leaves and green tea meet mountain tea, lemongrass, and lavender. Light and fruity, with lemongrass taking center stage and a delicate hint of lavender. Thanks to the green tea, Kraftliebe contains caffeine – a mild alternative to your first cup of coffee.
🌿 IMMUNLIEBE – for a grey afternoon: Olive leaves blended with nettle, rosemary, elderberries, lemon peel, oregano blossoms, and ginger. Spicy, full-bodied, and slightly floral.
🍵 OLIVE LEAF TEA – for the evening or anytime in between: 100% dried olive leaves, nothing else. Light in the cup, distinctly bitter, and without any sweetness. It’s exactly this bitterness that gives olive leaf tea its unique character. Naturally caffeine-free.
How to brew it: Bring the water to a boil, then let it cool for 3–4 minutes. Pour over the leaves at around 80°C and steep for 5–7 minutes.
