A publisher requests a voucher – what do I need to do?
At selecdoo, registered publishers can request vouchers for the advertisers they promote at any time.
This request essentially means: “I’d like to promote your products – not your competitors’ – on a commission basis. May I offer my community a discount code for that?”
Such a request shows genuine interest in the advertiser and real commitment to their products.
Once selecdoo receives the request, it is first reviewed internally. If approved, the request is forwarded to the advertiser, who then decides whether and in what form a voucher will be provided.
The advertiser can define the following details individually:
•Approval or rejection of the voucher request
•Adjustment of the voucher amount
•Adjustment of the voucher code
The response is sent to selecdoo by email.
Examples of possible replies include:
•Yes, gladly, but only 10% instead of 15% discount
•Yes, gladly, but with the code PETER10 instead of PETER15
•No, unfortunately no voucher available at the moment
selecdoo then creates the final code in the system and assigns it directly to the requesting publisher. Only this publisher can use the code and earn commissions from it.
selecdoo recommends responding to every request – regardless of the decision. Affiliate marketing is a people-driven business, and a short reply shows appreciation. Even a rejection can help maintain a positive relationship for future collaboration opportunities.
