Why do I receive a warning when trying to pay selecdoo invoices or transfer money?
At selecdoo, all transfers are regularly updated in line with the latest EU regulations.
Since October 2025, instant transfers have become free of charge and the new standard across the Eurozone. At the same time, banks have introduced a new security system that uses a color signal to verify whether the recipient’s name matches the IBAN.
This so-called traffic light system is designed purely to prevent fraud and may occasionally trigger warning messages for international or business transfers.
A red signal doesn’t automatically mean there’s a problem — it simply indicates that the recipient’s account is outside the verification system or that the recipient’s bank doesn’t yet support the new service (which is currently the case for selecdoo).
All bank details stored at selecdoo are verified, approved, and completely secure.

If a message such as “Recipient could not be verified” appears during the transfer process, you can safely ignore it. The payment will still be processed correctly and reach the designated account at Valiant Bank AG in Switzerland.
The correct bank details to use are:
- Account Owner: selecdoo AG
- Bank: Valiant Bank Basel
- IBAN (EUR): CH95 0630 0507 2404 5455 3
- BIC: VABECH22XXX
Payment reference:
Your invoice number exactly as shown in the screenshot.
This procedure reflects the current technical standards and is completely normal for international business accounts. selecdoo continues to guarantee the highest levels of security and data protection for all transactions.
